The Attractive Caribbean Island Aruba


Aruba is one of the Caribbean islands which is famous for it's white sand beaches. The south west coast has many white sand beaches while the northern coast has a rocky coast. There are cheap flights available to visit this charming town on the island. English and Spanish are widely spoken besides the official languages Dutch and Papiamento.


Climate


The region has a tropical climate with steady trade winds blowing from the Atlantic Ocean throughout the year. The temperature is around 27 degrees and  rainfall is less than 20 inches by year. The city is at a safe distance from the Caribbean hurricane belt. The best months to travel to the city are the months from January to March.

Traveling Around


Flights to Aruba arrive at the Reina Beatrix International Airport. Although no longer having its own airline, you can get airline tickets for the United States leading airlines including American Airlines, Air Tran, United, US Airways, Delta, JetBlue Airways, etc. Cruise shipping service can be an advantage because it allows travelers access to nearby shopping areas around the ports.

The best choice for sightseeing is the bus service of Arubus because it is the cheapest . Drivers and local travelers are friendly and helpful. Being a small town, rent a car or jeep is not necessary as most places are at walking distances. Furthermore, in rented older cars, even by big brand companies is common, poor signage in the streets can also be frustrating.

Places to visit


Because of the cheap flights to Aruba visitors can enjoy a variety of beaches, including the most beautiful Eagle Beach and Palm Beach. Malmok Beach, Hadikurari Beach, San Nicolaas Beach, Baby Beach is more popular. Most resorts offer stimulating activities such as sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, diving, fishing, diving, ... etc.

 An awesome place to visit during the daytime, natural pool is a small pool of water hidden behind rock formation on the north side of the island. Hooiberg also known as Haystack Mountain is 500 feet high. The location of that place at the center offers spectacular views of the city and the coast of Venezuela.

This place is an atractive for animals-lovers, Donkey Sanctuary has many donkeys rescued wild roaming the streets who are often victims of cars or dogs. While petting is free, there is a small fee to feed pellets or apples. The contributions are used for further rescue work.

Shopping and eating


While an expensive city to visit and shop, get cheap tickets to Aruba is vitally essential. Their economy depends largely on tourism, even street vendors in the city are extremely polite and respectful to buyers.

The Renaissance Mall in Oranjestad, home to many American and European brands, including Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and other souvenir shops, jewelry, clothing, and groceries. The duty-free shops around the ports of the airport and cruise offer little better business.
